The Competitor Overview page shows reports based on success, volumes and themes data freely available to the public, focusing on Imperial as well as Cambridge, Manchester, Oxford and UCL. The available reports are detailed in the following table:
|Success Rates by Competitor||Displays the success rates by value of applications, according to decision date. This can be shown per individual research council or as a combined total|
|Award Volumes by Theme||Displays the budgets awarded for a selected theme (or keyword), theme group or theme top group. This is from financial year 2007/08 onwards|
|Award Volumes by Academic and Theme||Displays the top 10 academics according to sum of active awards per selected research theme group|
|Research Income by Competitor||Displays the total academic research grants and contracts income (i.e. expenditure) as reported in the annual HESA returns. This can be viewed at institution level, funding source level, HESA cost centre level, or funding source and cost centre level|
|Award Volumes by Competitor||Displays the awarded budgets for financial year 2008/09 onwards (depending on availability) from the selected funder|
|Top 20 Awards since 2012/13||Displays the top 20 awards according to award value from years 2012/13 onwards|
Many of these charts allow drilling through to more detail, and can then be exported if required.
