Multi-faculty centres and networks
Multidisciplinary research is important for tackling big societal challenges and is an integral part of Imperial’s strategy.
To provide a means of formally recognising cross-Faculty initiatives supporting multidisciplinary research alongside our flagship global challenge institutes, a series of calls for proposals will be released by the Vice Provost (Research) for recognition of multi-Faculty Networks and Centres.
A formal College-wide process of endorsement and consistent branding for multi-Faculty Networks and Centres has been created. This framework will apply to all new initiatives. Those that already exist are encouraged to work within the expectations of the framework, including its nomenclature, though this is not necessarily required if a compelling case can be made for keeping existing branding.
There is no currently open call for proposals for College recognition of multi-Faculty Networks and Centres, further information will be released mid-2018.
